Right of Refusal

Inspector12, Inspector12.com, and/or its owner(“Lightning Solutions LLC.”) reserves the right to refuse service to any person or entity. We reserve the right to honor all transactions made through our website. In the event a transaction can not or will not be honored, a refund will be performed within 30 calendar days from the date of discovery that the transaction can not or will not be honored.

Payments accepted

At this time we accept the following terms of payment:

  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Paypal
  • Check or Money Order (Orders will not complete processing until payment has been verified and received)
  • Purchase Order (This method is only available to Government or Educational institutions)

Order Processing
Orders will be processed in a timely manner. Usually within 48 hours of receipt. We will make every reasonable attempt to notify: if an order will be delayed; the product is no longer available; or the price can no longer be honored. Currently we only accept orders for the U.S. and in U.S. Dollar amounts.  Order processing consists of order review, payment processing, and product delivery.

Product Delivery/Shipping
Upon completion of payment processing, products will be delivered as specified by customer during the checkout process. The current available options are:

Electronic Delivery – The majority of our products are available via download. A download link and license key will be emailed to customer within 48 hours of order completion.

Standard Software - A customer may request a retail box of any item purchased through our website. We will make every reasonable attempt to fulfill this request, however not all of our products are produced in this manner. Please refer to the products details to see if it is Download Only.  Choosing this option during shipping will provide the customer with at least one retail box copy of the software. More may be requested via telephone if a higher quantity was purchased and additional shipping charges will apply. This item ships ground only.

UPS Ground – 5-7 business days + 48 hours for order processing

UPS 2nd Day – 2 business days + 48 hours for order processing

UPS Next Day – 1 business day + 48 hours for order processing


Order Changes
Orders that have not been processed may be changed. This can be performed by contacting us via telephone. In the event an order was placed incorrectly by the customer we will make every reasonable attempt work with customer in correcting the order.

Order Cancellation
Orders that have not been processed may be cancelled. This can be performed by contacting us via telephone. In the event an order has already been processed please see our refund policy section.

Refund/Return Policy

Refund of Subscription Based Products (IE: Anti Virus, Anti Spam) – All of our subscription based products  are available for a trial period prior to purchasing. Due to the nature of these products we do not offer a refund unless the customer has procured a cancellation agreement from the developer or manufacturer of the product being cancelled. We must be notified by the developer or manufacturer of their intent to cancel and refund the unused portion of the subscription within 15 days from the date of order completion. This is solely the discretion of the developer or manufacturer.

Return/ Refund of Retail Box Software - We will accept and refund unopened and not tampered with retail box software within 30 Calendar days of the purchase date. Opened Retail Box Software cannot be refunded, returned or exchanged. Damaged items will be replaced within 30 days from the date of purchase with exactly the same item.

Refund of License Key Activated Software (IE: Firewall Software) – License key activated software is sold “as-is” and cannot be refunded. It may in certain circumstances be possible to exchange these items after order completion for a similar product. This will be handled on a case by case basis and No Guarantee is given that the activated product may be exchanged.

Return/Refund of Hardware (IE: Security Appliances) – Hardware may be returned and will be refunded within 30 calendar days from date of purchase. Any hardware damaged by the customer will not be accepted. If customer receives hardware damaged or DOA, the item will be replaced with the exact same item.


Software Downloads
All links to trial and purchased products are linked directly to the manufacturer or developer of their respective owner.  All license agreement and terms of use for the software are between the customer and manufacturer or developer of the product. Inspector12, Inspector12.com, and/or its owner(“Lightning Solutions LLC.”) is not responsible and assumes no liability for any damages of any kind that are incurred by downloading software using links provided by Inspector12.com. This includes loss of use, loss of data, loss of business, and/or loss of profits.
